Teaching Anti-America, Anti-Israel Sentiment in Chicago.
Growing up in Iran, I was taught to chant slogans like “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” with fervor, my young voice echoing the rhetoric of those around me. It wasn’t just a phrase; it embedded in me a relentless government-led indoctrination, fostering hate and division.
The memories of my childhood in Iran, where dissent was met with punishment and defiance with retribution, come rushing back to me.
It’s a surreal irony to see these same slogans being taught in the heart of America by Shobeir Razavi to Persian-speaking foreigners in Chicago. I am filled with a deep sense of anguish and concern.
Chicago, the very city that prides itself on diversity and inclusivity, is now playing host to a familiar face from Iranian state TV, spreading these toxic teachings and propagation of hatred and violence.
By the way, drinking a margarita in Iran could land you in jail or result in a hefty fine.
I urge you to heed the warning signs. Recognize the gravity of this situation. This isn’t just a distant threat; it’s a virus that, if left unchecked, will spread like wildfire, engulfing everything in its path. Let my story serve as a reminder of the dangers that lurk beneath the surface, and let us join together in solidarity to confront this menace before it’s too late.
